This would make food more available around the world, satisfying the United Nations goal two, zero hunger.

Examples

One example to help us better understand how fertilizer helps us is with the videogame, Minecraft. In Minecraft, bone meal, harvested from composters, can be used as fertilizers to do various things. Its main use is to grow crops faster. However, it can be used to grow wheat, carrots, potatoes, and more, along with things like grass and flowers, just like real fertilizer!

The #MadePossibleByFertilizer digital contest is a contest hosted by the Nutrients For Life foundation for students in grades 7 through 12.

The goal of the contest is to make a creative project to demonstrate how fertilizers can help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #2: Zero Hunger!
